Welcome to the Comcast COAM Testing Program

In partnership with Comcast, Kyrio has been selected to help you achieve your Comcast COAM Certification.  With over 20 years of experience in one of the largest connected-device ecosystems in the world, Kyrio’s comprehensive knowledge ensures device and service interoperability and has delivered millions of reliable products.  

Just follow these steps to get your devices Comcast COAM Certified:

1.  Start the Certification Process for your COAM Modem
    • Complete an application on the Comcast Vendor Portal
      • COAMSUB for Full Certification 
      • COAMMAINT for Maintenance Releases
    • Complete the application in Kyrio’s Product Submission Tool or (PST).
    • Please ship 10 CMs/Gateways and 2 console units to Kyrio at:

2.  Kyrio Testing & Certification Steps
    • For Full Certification, Kyrio initiates the testing and provides a weekly progress update.
    • For Maintenance Submissions:
      • There will be a Change Impact Analysis (CIA) conducted between Kyrio and Comcast to determine the scope of testing prior to starting.  
      • After the impact analysis is complete, Kyrio will send you the invoice.
    • At completion of testing, Kyrio will send you and Comcast the test report and report any issues in Jira. 
    • Upon successfully completing Comcast COAM Testing, Comcast will complete the onboarding activities and add your device to “MyDeviceInfo”.
